In each session we will ask you to set two goals. The first will be to use one or more of the three parenting practices (lead by example, set expectations, and provide a supportive environment) or other parenting strategies to improve personal and family habits. This will be called a “personal goal.”
The second is a goal that you will set together with your family to accomplish all together during the week corresponding to each session.
Set one goal to balance the calorie intake and expenditure using one of the three parenting practices. Be as specific as you can. One example would be to be a role model going for a walk for 30 minutes every day.
