Listen to the audio

The parents are the caretakers of the tree, which in this case symbolizes the young. Branches, leaves and fruits grow from the tree that would be your children's dreams, goals and opportunities. However, it cannot happen without the "maintenance" of the parents, that is, the love, support, guidance, and connection they generate with them. Parents have the responsibility to provide and teach healthy food options and encourage opportunities for physical activities. Parents can learn how to set rules, be role models, provide discipline to promote healthy expectations, and a healthy environment where children can thrive and thrive. From now on we will complete a part of the tree in each session.

Imagine that your children are like the trees that are growing. Think of the leaves and fruits as representing the specific hopes and dreams you have for your child.

Write them down.
